we finally had a pretty decent snow last week, and the kids were SO excited! they couldn't wait to get out and play in it. this is the kids playing in the front yard (i wouldn't let them out back because Addi eats the snow nonstop, and we have 3 chickens who free-range and also free-poop back there until Jake finds time to get them penned in).
these kids will play outside until their pink cheeks have actually started to look like white welts and their little fingers are nearing frostbite! i have to eventually lure them in the house with hot chocolate and LOTS of marshmallows : )
so it was fun, and we enjoyed it, and now we're all ready for spring : ) and the water park, as Addi reminds me daily!
I have been wishing for snow. We had tons of rain over the last few weeks and it has tormented me because if it had just dropped a degree or so it would have been snow. When it rains at our house, we are just in the middle of a big muddy, yucky mess. YUCK!!! I would choose snow over rain any day.
