Today we are praising our Father in heaven that Jake still has his job, but at the same time we're praying for those that lost theirs. We know many people Jake worked with who were let go today, and knowing how scary it was to even face this possibility, we can only imagine what it's like to be walking in their shoes right now. Please be with us in lifting up the thousands of families here in Wichita who find themselves looking for new security and assurance and hope in this hour, and also for God to bring creative opportunities for us to bless them and reach out to them in very practical ways.
"Now to Him who is able to do far more abundantly beyond all that we ask or think, according to the power that works within us, to Him be the glory in the church and in Christ Jesus to all generations forever and ever. Amen." Eph 3:20
Another version of that scripture says.."according to His power that is at work within us,". I really like that part, what it says to me is that if our heart is in it to glorify His name and build His kingdom, then He can and will use His power in "us" to do life changing things.. I know that He is and will continue to use His power in and through you guys in these times of uncomfortableness to build his kingdom and change lives!
